We will be working with the student success counselors and professors to better understand and address issues specific to highly and profoundly gifted young students. Fall offerings include: Philosophy, Introduction to Business, Critical Thinking, Literature, US History, World Civilization, Public Communications and Art. Founded in 1991, Lynn University’s Institute for Achievement and Learning (IAL) is recognized worldwide for innovative programs that help students with learning differences to succeed at the college level. Each IAL student is assigned to a learning advisor who, in conjunction with the institute’s support team, develops an Individualized Learning Plan — a completely integrated, comprehensive roadmap for the student’s progress through college. The ILP draws from the institute’s extensive menu of services, determining which will benefit and support the student’s learning process. It is a living and evolving document that changes regularly as a result of ongoing consultation between the student, their learning advisor and the student’s course instructors.
